Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Memphis Depay is close to joining Barcelona after the Lyon star admitted it his "his dream" to play under the legendary Dutchman at Camp Nou.
Koeman confirmed that the club are close to getting a deal over the line. He told reporters: "Memphis said something about it today and I can confirm that. It's not signed yet, but it's almost there. I wanted to get it in January, if it happens now, that's great. We know what we can do together."
Man City lead the race for Ramos
Manchester City are reportedly leading the race for Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos, according to AS.
The Spaniard has revealed that he will be leaving Madrid at the end of the month as a free agent, and the report claims that Pep Guardiola is keen on bringing the legendary defender to the Etihad stadium.
Madrid want Arsenal's Smith Rowe
Real Madrid reportedly want to sign Emile Smith Rowe in a deal that would see Martin Odegaard stay on at Arsenal, permanently.
According to the Daily Mail, Madrid are willing to let the transfer happen, if they are allowed to sign Smith Rowe in exchange. Odegaard is one of Arsenal's top targets this summer, and while the LaLiga giants want around £35m for the Norwegian playmaker, they would be open to a player-plus-cash deal that involves Smith Rowe heading to Spain.
Young poised for Villa return
Ashley Young could reportedly return to Aston Villa within the next 24 hours, according to the Telegraph.
The report claims that the 35-year-old is set to return to Villa park a decade after leaving to join Manchester United. Inter have reportedly offered him a contract extension, and Young also has offers from Watford and Burnley.
