With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Mbappe open to Liverpool move

Kylian Mbappe is reportedly open to joining Liverpool when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current season. Mbappe has heavily been linked with a move to Real Madrid, with some reports even claiming the 23-year-old has agreed a deal to sign for Los Blancos in the summer.

However, Catalan outlet Sport now claim that the Frenchman is "rethinking" his decision after his dramatic late goal on Tuesday and is keeping his options open.

Mbappe has been linked with Liverpool in the past, with Jurgen Klopp admitting he is a huge fan of the World Cup winner. And the report claims that the German is still trying to convince Mbappe to join him at Anfield.

Pogba linked to United's rivals

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Manchester United's Premier League rivals as he nears the end of his contract at Old Trafford. The Telegraph have claimed that the Frenchman will wait until the end of the season to decide on his future, but will keep his options open, including those from the league.

Manchester City and Chelsea have both previously been linked with an interest in signing the 28-year-old. The Blues even tried to sign Pogba when Jose Mourinho was at the club in 2015, but the player's agent, Mino Raiola, revealed it "wasn't the right time" for Pogba to move.

Raiola reportedly offered City the chance to sign Pogba in 2018, but Pep Guardiola opted against signing him.

Rodgers close to Leicester sack

Brendan Rodgers is reportedly close to getting the sack at Leicester, according to Football Insider.

The report claims if the Foxes lose to Wolves this weekend, Rodgers could be on his way out of the club. The Irishman led Leicester to their first-ever FA Cup win last season, but his side sit 11th on the Premier League table right now, with basically zero hope of qualifying for the Champions League. They have also been knocked out of the FA Cup and Europa League.
