The summer transfer window is approaching fast and as the Premier League is slated to finish on Sunday, May 23, the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Top clubs across Europe are still looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season, and clear out their wage bill as well.

FC Barcelona approach Gianluigi Buffon

Foot Mercato report Barcelona have approached Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon about joining them on a free transfer in the summer.

The Italian shot-stopper has announced he will leave Juventus at the end of the season, and Barcelona are considering signing him as a back-up for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Borussia Dortmund CEO insists Erling Haaland will remain at the club next season.

Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzk is confident Erling Haaland will remain at the club next season, amid rumours that link the Norwegian youngster with a move away from the Bundesliga side.

"I have the clear expectation that Erling Haaland will play for us next year," Watzke told Sport Bild [viaESPN]. "And I don't waste any thoughts on anything else."

Juventus identify potential Cristiano Ronaldo replacements

Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Juventus beyond this season remains uncertain, and Tuttosport [via ilBianconeri] claim the Old Lady have identified Arkadiusz Milik and Moise Kean as potential replacements for the Portuguese international.

Miliki, who plies his trade for Marseille, could be available for a fee between €12-15m, while Juventus could also look to sign Kean on a permanent or loan deal from Everton.

Neymar wants to play with Cristiano Ronaldo

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr has revealed he wants to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, amid uncertainty over latter's future at Juventus.

"I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. I've already played with great players like Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven't played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet," he told GQ France as quoted by Marca.
