There are less than three weeks left in the January transfer window, but apart from rumours, there haven't been too many big-name signings yet. The financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic is clearly having an effect on transfers, but deals are still expected to happen this month.

Bayern close in on top transfer target
Bayern Munich are reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ to sign top Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool target Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig this month. The Premier League trio are all keen on adding defensive reinforcements to their respective squads, and have been linked with Upamecano since the summer.
According to German journalist Alfred Draxler, Hansi Flick's side have already held talks with the 22-year-old. "I know that Bayern have been in contact with Upamecano's agent and that talks are advanced," Draxler told Sport 1 (h/t Marca).

That's according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Brighton are set to beat the league giants with an offer of £4.5m for the 19-year-old.

Dembele on brink of Atletico move
Atletico Madrid are close to signing Moussa Dembele from Lyon, Diego Simeone has confirmed.
The Lyon star's move to LaLiga is imminent as he appears set for a loan deal with an option to buy. An agreement has not been finalised, but Simeone is confident it will be done soon.
