The summer transfer window is already heating up as managers eye new recruits to beef up their squads. Harry Kane is still intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea all interested.
Real Madrid have filled their vacant managerial spot by bringing back Carlo Ancelotti, who spent the last season with Everton.
Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too. United have gone ahead and brought in Sancho and many other top clubs are being linked with big names.
With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.
Guardiola contracts Griezmann
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly made a personal call to Antoine Griezmann over a potential move this summer.
According to Foot Mercato, Guardiola has turned his attention to Griezmann. Barca are in desperate need of funds to balance their wage books and need to offload several players in order to make an offer to Lionel Messi, who is currently a free agent after his contract with the club expired last month.
Zouma to leave Chelsea
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is reportedly set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, according to Telefoot.
The Frenchman has already turned down interest from Wolves but Everton, Tottenham, and Roma all remain interested in the 26-year-old, who spent the 2019-2020 season on loan with the Toffees. Chelsea are open to a deal for the defender, who spent most of last season on the bench.
Spurs and Real to battle for Kounde
Tottenham are reportedly set to rival Real Madrid in the race to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, according to Sport.
The Los Blancos are keen to bolster their defence following the departure of Sergio Ramos and expected exit of Raphael Varane. However, Carlo Ancelotti's side fear they will be outbid by Tottenham who are willing to pay as much as €60million for the 22-year-old.
Arsenal face Onana battle
Arsenal reportedly face a battle for Ajax's Andre Onana as the goalkeeper prefers a move to Lyon, according to Football London.
The Gunners are keen to add another keeper to their ranks, but unlike Lyon, will not be able to offer Onana European football next season. The report also claims that Mikel Arteta will not be able to guarantee the Cameroon international regular playing minutes ahead of Bernd Leno.
