The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Juventus eye Martial

Juventus are reportedly eyeing Anthony Martial, according to Calciomercato.

The report claims that the Manchester United man is one of several names on a potential shortlist in case the Serie A giants miss out on signing Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic. Mauro Icardi, Darwin Nunez, Alexandre Lacazette, and Gianluca Scamacca are other names on the list ahead of the January transfer window.

Madrid plan summer clear-out

Real Madrid are reportedly planning on letting a number of players leave during the January transfer window, according to SPORT.

Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo look to be on their way as they approach the end of their contracts, while Los Blancos are also hoping to sell Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

United won't sack Solskjaer yet

Contrary to rumours, Manchester United have no plans of sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer just yet.

That's according to Manchester Evening News, who claim that the Old Trafford outfit will only act if they have a replacement ready to take over in a smooth transition of power.
