The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Barcelona renew Auba interest

Barcelona are reportedly set to renew their interest in Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to football journalist Ekrem Konur.

The Catalan club have previously been linked to the Gunners star, however, new boss Xavi is reportedly not a huge fan of the Gabonese international.

Real Madrid still want Rudiger

Real Madrid are reportedly still hopeful of signing Antonio Rudiger this summer, according to AS.

The German is out of contract with Chelsea at the end of the current season, but it would take a salary of around €12m per year to convince him to sign.

Xavi to axe Barca star

Xavi has reportedly decided to axe Barcelona star Luuk de Jong in the January transfer window, according to SPORT.

The 41-year-old is set to return to Camp Nou and take over from Ronald Koeman, and reportedly wants to offload De Jong, who has scored once in nine games and been left on the bench for the last two.
