The summer transfer window is already heating up as managers eye new recruits to beef up their squads. Harry Kane is still intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Manchester CityManchester United, and Chelsea all interested.

Real Madrid have filled their vacant managerial spot by bringing back Carlo Ancelotti, who spent the last season with Everton.

Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and will be looking to bring in a few more reinforcements too.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

PSG initiate Pogba talks

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly initiated talks with Paul Pogba's representatives over a potential summer move.

According to the Daily Mail, who quote the Sun, Pogba's agents have greenlighted a move out of United this summer, as the 28-year-old is ready to "move on and experience something new". RMC in France further claim that Pogba is "more than open" to signing for Mauricio Pochettino's side, and would "relish" the prospect of joining PSG's project.

Guardiola doubts Man City signings

Pep Guardiola has admitted it is increasingly difficult Manchester City will spend big on bringing a striker this summer, amid links to Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.

The City boss told TV3: "At the prices we are not going to buy any strikers, it is impossible, we cannot afford it. It's impossible. All clubs are struggling financially, we are not an exception. I don't know what is going to happen. Maybe we're going to buy but maybe we're not going to buy a striker for next season. Today there is more chance we aren't going to buy a striker for next season."

Trippier quizzed on future

Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier has been quizzed on his future and links to Manchester United over a potential transfer this summer. But the England international insisted that he full-focused on his nation's bid for Euro 2020 glory.

He told The Guardian: "I’ve just enjoyed the season [at Atletico] and we’ve won the title. I’m away with England, we’re playing Denmark and I’m not focusing on my club or what is going on. I’m just focused on England and doing as best as I can if I play. If I don’t play, I still give 100 percent."

Mbappe urged to leave PSG

Former Paris Saint-Germain and France striker Nicolas Anelka has urged Kylian Mbappe to leave the Ligue 1 side if he wishes to emulate the success Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have achieved in their respective careers.
The 42-year-old wrote for The Athletic: "You have at least two choices — stay in Paris or move to Real Madrid. Both of them can win the Champions League these days. When I was at PSG, that wasn't the case. That choice depends on what you want to achieve in football. If you want the biggest accolades, you will have to move from PSG at some point."
