The summer window may have shut earlier this week, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names, including Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Inter target Onana

Inter are reportedly considering a move for Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to Calciomercato.
The Cameroon international is in the final year of his contract and will be available on a free transfer at the end of the current season. The report claims that Inter are looking to replace Samir Handanovic, who will also be a free agent in the summer.

Bale coy on Madrid future

Gareth Bale has refused to be drawn into discussions over his Real Madrid future as he enters the final year of his contract.
When asked if a contract extension could be on the cards, Bale replied: "I've only just started this year and you're already asking questions! I haven't thought about anything beyond this game [Wales' World Cup qualifier against Belarus on Sunday] to be honest. I'm just thinking about each and every game as it comes. Just trying to enjoy it."

City rejected Saul-Silva swap

Manchester City reportedly turned down Atletico Madrid's offer of Saul Niguez plus cash for Bernardo Silva, according to the Daily Star.
The report claims that City were only interested in an outright sale of Silva, and Saul ended up joining Chelsea on deadline day on a season-long loan with a £30m option to buy.

Hazard dismisses "unsettled" claims

Eden Hazard has dismissed claims he is "unsettled" at Real Madrid and insisted he is "very happy" to be playing at the LaLiga club. He told reporters: "It’s not true that I’m not happy at Real Madrid, I’m very happy at the club and you know a player is happy when he is playing and scoring goals. I haven’t played or scored much but that doesn’t affect the affection I have for the club.
"I’m happy in Madrid, I like my life there. The situation got complicated because of Covid, the injuries and all, but a player is happy when he is playing minutes, it’s easier to be happy when you’re scoring."
