The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Coutinho inches closer to Barca exit

Barcelona are reportedly hoping to offload Philippe Coutinho to Newcastle in January, according to SPORT.
The Catalan club are still trying to reduce their wage bill and don't consider Coutinho to be a starter, hence believe the Brazilian is unable to justify his wages.

United snub chance to sign Hazard

Manchester United have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Eden Hazard, according to El Nacional.
Real Madrid are open to selling the Belgian forward, who has struggled to find his feet since making the move from Chelsea, but the Old Trafford giants have shut down all talk of a potential transfer.

Pogba doesn't plan on Man United extension

Paul Pogba reportedly has no plans of extending his Manchester United contract, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Frenchman is set to be a free agent at the end of the current season, and United might look to offload the World Cup winner in January rather than lose him for free in the summer.
