The winter transfer window is shut, but transfer rumours are still making the rounds ahead of the summer. The dates for the summer transfer window have not been announced yet, but with the Premier League slated to finish on Sunday, May 23, the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Top clubs across Europe are still looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season, and clear out their wage bill as well. With that in mind, here's a look at the latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Haaland staying at Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly hopeful of keeping Erling Haaland at the club this summer, despite interest from a number of top European clubs.

According to head of first-team football Sebastian Kehl, BVB are "assuming" that Haaland will be a part of their plans next season. Kehl told SportBild of Haaland: "We assume that he will stay beyond the summer and become an even better player with us."

Arsenal tracking Ibrahima Konate

Arsenal are reportedly interested in 21-year-old French defender Ibrahima Konate, according to the Evening Standard.

The Gunners let a number of defenders leave in the summer, and with David Luiz's contract up this summer, Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in another centre-back to provide defensive cover for Rob Holding, Pablo Mari, and Gabriel.

PSG want Benjamin Mendy

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly tracking Manchester City left-back Benjamin Mendy, according to The Sun.

Mendy has made just six Premier League appearances this season so far, and the report claims that PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino is a huge fan of Mendy. He has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad, with Pep Guardiola choosing to pick Oleksandr Zinchenko, Joao Cancelo, and Aymeric Laporte over him.

Sergio Aguero to Barcelona?

Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta has named Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero as a potential summer arrival at Camp Nou in the upcoming transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, if he is elected, Laporta will try to bring Aguero to Barcelona as a statement signing in the summer. The Argentine is set to be a free agent at the end of the current season, and he could make the switch and play alongside his friend, Lionel Messi.
