The summer transfer window is approaching fast and while the dates for the window have not been announced yet, the Premier League is slated to finish on Sunday, May 23 which may imply that the transfer window is most likely to reopen on Monday, June 1.

Top clubs across Europe are still looking to boost their squad ahead of the new season, and clear out their wage bill as well. With that in mind, here's a look at the latest transfer rumours from around the world.

Tottenham set mammoth Kane price tag

Tottenham have reportedly set a massive asking price for Harry Kane, according to The Sun.

Jose Mourinho's side are set to ask interested parties to shell out £175 million for their star striker. Spurs are unwilling to let the England international join Premier League rivals, Manchester City and Manchester United, both of whom are interested in signing the 27-year-old.

Guardiola admits City won't spend

Pep Guardiola has admitted that it is "impossible" for Manchester City to sign a big-money striker this summer as a replacement for Sergio Aguero.

"I want to be clear, maybe we are going to find a new player to replace him (Aguero) but in terms of numbers [of goals it is] impossible." Guardiola said ahead of Saturday's clash with Leicester. Pressed on why City might not sign a striker, he added: "With these prices it’s impossible - we cannot afford it. That’s not going to happen. All the clubs struggle financially and we are not an exception."

Real Madrid won't bid for Haaland

Real Madrid will reportedly not make an offer for Borussia Dortmund star, Erling Haaland, according to AS.

The LaLiga giants have been long linked with a move for the 20-year-old, but according to the report, Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola is attempting to start a bidding war for his client, and Madrid will not be making an offer for the Norwegian this summer.

Atletico to battle Juventus for Milik

Atletico Madrid are set to battle with Juventus for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Milik is currently on loan at Marseille and will be leaving at the end of the current season. The report claims he will be available for just €12 million, and the Spanish and Italian giants set to fight it out for his signature.
