The summer window may have shut, but the air is still thick with transfer rumours as clubs continue to monitor targets, already looking forward to the January window.

Some big names, including Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland could be on the move in the coming few months, and we're here to keep you posted on the latest transfer rumours.

With that, here are the top transfer rumours of the day.

Van de Beek set for United exit

Donny van de Beek is reportedly trying to leave Manchester United during the winter transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

The Dutchman was left on the bench during the midweek's Champions League win over Villarreal and was visibly frustrated. Reports for a long time have linked him with an exit from Old Trafford, and he could move on in January with a number of clubs interested in signing him.

Rice responds to transfer talk

Declan Rice has responded to speculation that he could leave West Ham as links continue to Manchester United and Chelsea.

Rice told reporters: “Everyone knows how I feel about West Ham and about playing under the manager and what it's like playing with the group of players I'm playing with. I feel you can see in my performances nothing is up, nothing is concerning me. I'm playing with a smile on my face, I'm going out there, leading the team. I think you could see a difference if I wasn't giving 100% but every time I'm putting on the shirt my only objective is to give everything for the club.”

Madrid offered Nkunku

Real Madrid have reportedly been offered the chance to sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, according to Defensa Central.

The 23-year-old has struggled for consistency in the Bundesliga, but has started the 2021-22 in fine form, and could reportedly be open to seeking a new challenge next summer.

Werner considering Chelsea future

Timo Werner is reportedly considering his Chelsea future, according to The Telegraph.

Werner has struggled in front of goal since joining the Blues last season, and could leave Stamford Bridge, if he fails to nail down a place in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI this season.
