Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set a €50million transfer fee on the head of midfielder, Dele Alli amid repeated interest from Paris Saint-Germain with Le Parisien claiming that current manager, Mauricio Pochettino is very keen to reunite with his former charge at Paris.
PSG have been repeatedly linked with a move for Alli as they have pushed for a season-long loan and while Tottenham have shown no interest in sending the England international on loan, that has not stopped the French giants from trying.
Pochettino is a big fan of Alli, who broke out under him at north London but for that too happen then PSG would need to part with a massive €50m as Tottenham are only interested in selling the player on a permanent basis.
However, this price-tag is not attainable for PSG especially in the current climate as the financial impact caused by the onset of the coronavirus pandemic would deter them considering that they would also incur major expenses in trying to tie down Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to long-term deals.
The 24-year-old has fallen down in the pecking order at Tottenham this season under Jose Mourinho, who has opted to use him in domestic cup and Europa League fixtures. Alli has made only 12 appearances, scoring 2 goals and he would need to ensure that he gets regular gametime in order to ensure that he makes the England squad for the upcoming European Championships.
