Over the week, we have heard rumours of Messi considering leaving FC Barcelona, and Mason Greenwood attracting interests from European biggies including Real Madrid, and many more. With that in mind, today, we are taking a look, at top five transfer rumours of the day.
1. Juventus, Manchester City lead race for Adama Traore
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has certainly impressed some of the big clubs in Europe. He had been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, and now ESPN claim that Juventus and Manchester City have moved ahead of FC Barcelona in the race for the Spaniard.
Should Wolves fail to qualify for the Champions League, we could be in for a transfer battle for Traore between the European heavyweights.
2. Barcelona still want to sign Lautaro Martinez
Lautaro Martinez's release clause may have expired recently, but Spanish behemoths FC Barcelona want to sign the Argentine striker. According to Spanish outlet, Sport [via Goal], the Catalans have an agreement in place with the 22-year-old footballer that if he leaves the Italian club, he will join Barca. However, it seems unlikely the La Liga side will be able to land a deal for the Argentine star.
3. Sevilla ahead of Juventus and Inter Milan in the race for Bellerin
Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin could be on the move this summer, with English outlet Express reporting Sevilla have enquired about the Spanish defender. Italian sides Juventus and Inter are also said to be keen on signing the 25-year-old, whose future at the London club has become uncertain of late.
4. Arsenal Keen on Moussa Dembele if they lose Aubameyang or Lacazette
Lyon's French forward Moussa Dembele has attracted interest from England, and Foot Mercato [via ESPN] report that Arsenal could table a proposal to sign the 23-year-old French footballer if they lose any of their two star attackers; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazett.
If Arsenal are to make a move for the striker, they will likely have to face competition from PSG and Atletico Madrid.
5. Daniel James won't leave Manchester United on Loan
Manchester United youngster Daniel James may have lost his starting place in the squad due to Mason Greenwood, who has capitalized on the opportunities he has been given, but the Welsh star won't be leaving Red Devils on a loan move, his agent has confirmed.
When asked whether James could leave United on loan, his agent Barnett said: "No. He’s a major part of Man United’s team. I see him playing for Man United.”
