Top Deals That Could Take Place on Transfer Deadline Day

The summer transfer window is currently underway and a number of clubs have already made signings so far, with some spending large amounts of money in order to get the player of their choice.
With the transfer window set to close on August 31, there are some deals too which have been in the news and could take place before it ends tonight. Here, we take a look at five big transfers that could take place before the transfer deadline day.
1. Kylian Mbappe (PSG to Real Madrid)
Kylian Mbappe has been a long-term target for Real Madrid and the club have finally made a move to get their man with it being reported that they have made a €160million bid for the striker.
Paris Saint-Germain for their part have rejected Madrid's bid as they deem the bid to be too less for the youngster, with the club keen to hold on to the striker.
It will be interesting to see whether the Los Blancos can complete a deal before the window closes, considering that PSG might just decide to get a good sum for the player, rather than lose him for free next summer.
2. Adama Traore (Wolves to Tottenham Hotspur)
Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Adama Traore with the club stepping up in their efforts to sign the winger from Wolves late in the transfer window, with the club slapping a €40million price-tag on his head.
It is being reported that the player himself is keen to make a move to north London and is waiting for Spurs to submit a bid so that he can make a last-minute move.
Tottenham's management have already entered into negotiations with Wolves, with manager, Nuno Espirito Santo keen to reunite with the winger.
3. Jules Kounde (Sevilla to Chelsea)
Jules Kounde has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with it being reported that the player has agreed personal terms with the Blues - but is waiting for Sevilla and Chelsea to reach an agreement over the price.
Despite the Blues keen to sign the player, it is likely that Kounde will remain in Spain as Sevilla have rejected a bid of €55million, and continue to hold out for €70m, just €10m less than his release clause.
However, a final decision will be taken only late on 31st afternoon, which means that a move could still take place.
4. Mauro Icardi (PSG to Juventus)
Juventus have stepped up their efforts to sign Mauro Icardi from PSG, as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, with Max Allegri keen to bring the Argentinian to Turin - having told him that he will be his starting striker.
The French giants though have rejected Juventus overtures, despite the Bianconeri offering a one-year loan deal and a two-year loan deal as well but they have not received any positive signs in a move.
The situation might change in the next few hours if PSG can convince Kylian Mbappe to stay at the club, which would mean that Icardi would be surplus to requirements for them.
