Three Real Madrid Players Whose Current Contract Will Expire in Summer 2021

Real Madrid have had somewhat of a mixed start to the new season.
The Spanish giants, who had a relatively quiet summer in terms of activity in the transfer market, sit top of the points table in their Champions League group and fourth in LaLiga, but have at times been inconsistent.
Meanwhile, off the pitch, they have already been linked with moves for a number of high-profile players in the summer transfer window, but several of Los Blancos' players have also been linked with exit from the club.

Some of those linked with exit are players who have fallen out of favour at the club, but some others are those whose current contract will soon be up.
In this article, we take a look at three Real Madrid players whose current contract will expire in the summer.

1. Sergio Ramos
The 34-year-old Spanish international is among the best defenders in the world, and continues to remain key for Real Madrid, where he has been playing since 2005.
Ramos' current contract with Los Blancos expires in the summer, and he's already being linked with moves to some of Europe's top clubs, including Juventus and PSG. However, he is expected to renew his contract with Los Blancos.
2. Luka Modric
Modric has already made clear he wants to extend his stay and retire at Real Madrid.
The 35-year-old has been a vital presence in the Real Madrid midfield since joining the LaLiga side from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012, but it remains to be seen if he and the club will reach an agreement regarding contract extension.
3. Lucas Vazquez
Vazquez is another Real Madrid player who will be out of contract in the summer.
The 29-year-old winger has been impressive for Madrid this season, and has even filled at right-back position when needed.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane recently suggested Vazquez deserves a contract extension, but will the Spaniard be given one? Only time will tell.
