'Shame on you, Messi' - German media hit out at PSG star over Lewandowski voting stance

Argentina icon, Lionel Messi has been slammed by the German media over his stance on Bayern Munich hitman, Robert Lewandowski in relation to his top-three picks for the FIFA 'The Best' Men's Player award.
Lewandowski won his second consecutive FIFA Best Men's Player award at the ceremony on Monday, beating out competition from Messi and Liverpool's, Mohamed Salah to the honour. Two months earlier the Paris Saint-Germain superstar had edged out Lewandowski to land the 2021 Ballon d'Or award - with it leading to a number of football legends criticising the voting process as they believed that the Polish skipper deserved to win the award.
That Messi did not name Lewandowski in picks for the FIFA 'The Best' award has led to Bild claiming that the Argentinian might have had a possible ulterior motive who saw Lewandowski as his main rival and wanted to deprive him of points.
