Sergio Aguero has reportedly agreed to join Barcelona on a two-year contract once he leaves Manchester City at the end of the ongoing season.

The 32-year-old is set to leave City after spending a decade with the Premier League champions, and The Guardian claim the Argentine has already agreed a contract with Barcelona.

Club president Joan Laporta is eager to kickstart his revolution project of the first-team squad, and according to reports, Aguero and Memphis Depay are set to spearhead his project.

Renowned transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano tweeted that both Aguero and Depay have been offered contracts by the LaLiga giants. He claims that the City striker has been offered a contract until June 2023 and his salary reduced to below €10m per year, and Depay is also set to be offered terms until either 2023 or 2024.

The report by The Guardian also claims that Aguero will receive an additional bonus if the Catalan giants win the Champions League during his stay at the club. While player exits and transfers are being planned, Barca boss Ronald Koeman has admitted he has not been supported by the club's board as he continues to be in the dark over his future.

"You need to respect your coach and players more," said Koeman ahead of his side's trip to Eibar. "In the last part of the season I've not felt the support of the club. We've not spoken about the future. There's been times when I've had to be a spokesman for the club and that should be noted."

Barcelona go into the final weekend of the LaLiga in third place behind rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, and are guaranteed to finish outside the top two for the first time since 2007-08.
