Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to leave Juventus and is hoping to return to Real Madrid, according to Marca.

The Portuguese superstar has heavily been linked with an exit from the Italian outfit he joined in the summer of 2018 in recent weeks.

Although Ronaldo has been impressive for the Old Lady, the Serie A side have struggled for form this season. They have already been eliminated from the Champions League, and the Serie A title looks beyond their reach as they trail league leaders Inter Milan by 10 points.

Juve, who signed Ronaldo with the hope he would lead them to Champions League glory, have not been able to go beyond the quarter-finals of the competition since the 36-year-old arrived.

Although Juventus director Fabio Paratici has said they plan to keep Ronaldo at the club, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner could be on the move this summer and could return to Real Madrid.

Marca claims Ronaldo is ready to leave Juventus due to their Champions League struggles and that the Portuguese attacker understands that his Italian adventure has come to an end.

However, they also add Los Blancos will have to assess whether or not a deal can happen, and that both parties know 'neither has been the same since they parted ways' in the summer of 2018.
