Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has confirmed midfielder Manuel Locatelli wants to join Juventus, and has revealed Arsenal and another English club are also interested in the Euro 2020 winner.

Locatelli, who was impressive for Italy in their title winning Euro 2020 campaign, has emerged as a transfer target for Juventus, and the midfielder too is keen on a move to the Turin giants.

Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in Locatelli, and are said to have tabled a €40m offer for the 23-year-old, though Juventus still remain favourites to secure his signature.

Sassuolo are holding out for €40m for Locatelli, and Juventus are yet to meet that valuation. While, Locatelli clearly prefers a move to Old Lady, Carnevali insists the Bianconeri would need to pay the 'right fee' to seal the transfer.

"He wants to join Juve. We’d be happy to sell Manuel to Juve but they need to pay the right fee," the Sassuolo CEO told Sky Sport Italia [via Goal].

He also added apart from Arsenal, another English club have also entered the race for Locatelli. He said: "Arsenal made a bid to sign him and also a new English club is now in the race."
