Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has opened up on his star player, Mohamed Salah, revealing that the Egyptian can match the consistency and longevity levels of footballing legends, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Salah is arguably the best player in the world at the moment and has been the standout player in the Premier League this season, scoring 16 goals so far - with many claiming that if he continues this form then he will be a shoo-in for all the individual awards at the end of the season.
Salah turns 30 in June and Klopp when asked if the striker can produce similar levels to Ronaldo and Messi in the latter stages of his career, Klopp replied: "Yes, I think so.
"It's his character, determination and that's the way he trains. His work attitude is incredible, he's the first in and last out, doing the right stuff. He knows his body, he knows what to do, he's listening to the experts here and tries to improve all the time. He works so hard for the situation that he's in now and will not waste it by doing less. So yeah, I'm as convinced as you can be."
Salah who joined the Reds in 2017, has been a key player in all of the club's success in recent times, scoring 148 goals in 229 appearances for them so far, winning one Premier League title and the 2019 Champions League honour.
