FC Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has been impressed by Memphis Depay's partnership with Antoine Griezmann after the two players starred for the Catalan outfit in their 3-0 win over VfB Stuggart.
Depay, who joined Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer transfer window, has scored a goal each in the two pre-season games he has so far played for the Blaugrana.
And, Koeman believes Depay brings more qualities to the Barcelona side with his 'play, speed and strength', and said the Dutch attacker's partnership with Griezmann was 'very good'.
"People know about Memphis because he was at Manchester United and Lyon" Koeman said, as quoted by Marca. "Today, he showed he can score as he scored the first with an individual piece of play.
"With his play, speed and strength, he gives other things to the team. His partnership with Antoine Griezmann was very good.
"We have players who can play in different positions in attack. We'll also have Sergio Aguero. I hope Leo [Messi] returns too. So, we have quality up front."
Meanwhile, Barcelona, who have won all three pre-season games they have played so far ahead of the 2021/22 season, will face RB Salzburg in their next match on August 4.
