Inter Milan legend, Riccardo Ferri has made a huge claim, revealing that current Nerazzurri striker, Romelu Lukaku is a better team player than Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo and AC Milan's, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Lukaku has established himself as the talisman for Antonio Conte's side ever since he joined them from Manchester United in 2019, with the Belgian scoring a staggering 60 goals in just 86 games in all competitions for them so far.
The 27-year-old is known for his selfless attitude on the pitch, and Ferri believes he is a cut above in this respect.
“Cristiano Ronaldo can’t be called into question at Juventus – he ‘is’ football – but when you see him leaving the pitch looking angry and complaining it doesn’t benefit his teammates. He has raised the bar in Serie A and in the Juventus dressing room, and he’s given the league greater interest," he told Sport Mediaset via Sempreinter.
“But if we compare him, Lukaku and Ibrahimovic in terms of how they move and help their team, Lukaku is first with Ibrahimovic in second."
Lukaku's 20 goals in the Serie A this season has put Inter on course to win their first league title since 2010, with the club currently having an eight-point lead over second placed, Milan and 10 ahead of champions, Juventus going into the business end of the season.
