Ramos who is widely considered to be one of the greatest defenders in the history of the sport has vast experience in winning trophies, especially in Europe and the management know that he would add that experience at the back and help them win their first Champions League title since 1996.
The 34-year-old has been a permanent fixture of the Madrid side since 2005 and is arguably their most important player, with the player making 667 appearances for the club so far, scoring 100 goals which is staggering for a defender and helping them win five LaLiga titles, two Copa del Rey's and four Champions League honours.
