Varane close to leaving Real Madrid

Raphael Varane is close to leaving Real Madrid this summer, with Manchester United looking increasingly likely to seal his transfer.

Varane has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid, and with the French centre-back having already entered the final year of his contract, the Los Blancos are open to letting him leave this summer.

The Guardian report Man Utd are close to completing the move for Varane, with the Premier League side and Real Madrid now discussing finer details of the contract. The English outlet add the deal could cost Man Utd €50m.


Agent reveals Hakimi's Real Madrid return dream

Achraf Hakimi's agent Alejandro Camano has revealed the full-back, who rrecently joined Paris Saint-Germain from Inter Milan, dreams of returning to his former side Real Madrid one day.

"Real Madrid had the right of first refusal until PSG and Inter said that the deal was going to happen," Camano said, as quoted by Marca.

"We maintain the illusion and the dream that Achraf will return to Real Madrid because he was born in Madrid, he grew up in Madrid and, as a final goal, one day, he would like to playplay for Real Madrid."

Real Madrid have announced they will face Rangers in a pre-season friendly in Glasgow on July 25, ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Las Palmas manager Pepe Mel has revealed Real Madrid were interested in Pedri. The 18-year-old was at Las Palmas before he joined FC Barcelona ahead of the 20-21 season.

André Villas-Boas has claimed Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid sooner or later amid speculations linking the French international with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.
