Real Madrid are reportedly to shake up their transfer strategy and place three players on the market in order to fund a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Pogba is currently in the final ten months of his contract at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils eager for him to commit his long-term future to the club. According to The Athletic, United have reportedly offered Paul Pogba a £400,000-per-week, five year deal in order to ward off interest from PSG.

The new deal would see Pogba become the best paid player at Old Trafford, surpassing David de Gea's £375,000 weekly wage, but they're still waiting to hear from the Frenchman, and Madrid are planning their move in the interim.

According to Diario AS, Carlo Ancelotti's side are happy with their experience of signing David Alaba on a free transfer, and will attempt to sign players on a free whenever they can. The report claims that Los Blancos are willing to splash out bonuses if it means securing players in the future.

Pogba has been identified as one target for Madrid next summer, while Leon Goretzka and Antonio Rudiger are also reportedly on the club’s transfer radar.

The report adds that Madrid will only splash out a substantial transfer fee on star players like Kylian Mbappe or Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland. Gareth Bale, Isco, and Marcelo are all on the chopping block at Madrid, with all three players’ respective contracts expiring next summer.
