Real Madrid directors are not contemplating re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer, according to a report.

Ronaldo, who left Madrid in the summer of 2018, has been linked with an exit from Juventus at the end of the season and a return to the Spanish capital has been mooted.

Juventus have, however, played down rumours of a Ronaldo exit, with club director Fabio Paratici and vice president Pavel Nedved among those at the Serie A side who have insisted they plan to keep the Portuguese superstar with them next season. Rumours, though, have not quite died down.

However, Real Madrid is not a landing spot for Ronaldo, according to Marca, who also say an exit from Juventus will not be easy either.

The Spanish outlet add that the La Liga side are being very careful with their finances, and that their priority is to land deals for young and emerging talents like Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Madrid have been linked with moves for both Mbappe and Haaland, and it remains to be seen if the defending La Liga champions will manage to pull off deals for them in the summer.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is set to have showdown talks with the Juventus hierarchy over his future at the club at the end of the season.
