Ranked: Top 10 most overrated footballers according to fans
Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as one of the most overrated footballers of all time by football fans.
In a highly-controversial top 10 put together by fans, Lionel Messi, Brazil legend Pele, and Manchester United icon David Beckham also feature on the list.
Ronaldo returned to United in the summer after spending a decade away from Old Trafford, playing for Real Madrid and Juventus. Messi led Argentina to Copa America victory in the summer, winning his first major international trophy, and has been tipped to lift the 2021 Ballon d'Or - his seventh, if rumours are true.
However, despite their achievement, both Messi and Ronaldo have been named as the most overrated footballers of all time in a poll held by TheTopTens.
