Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering selling Kylian Mbappe this summer and have already lined up a potential replacement for him.
Mbappe is in the final year of his contract, and has, so far, refused to sign a new deal, amid rumours he could join Real Madrid for free next summer. Rather than lose him for nothing, the Ligue 1 giants are open to considering offers for him before the ongoing transfer window shuts.
According to RMC Sport, Mauricio Pochettino's side are considering bringing in Everton forward, Richarlison, if Mbappe does leave in the next two weeks. PSG have reportedly already contacted the Brazilian's agents, and the fact he is a friend of Neymar could significantly aid the club in negotiations.
PSG have enjoyed a brilliant summer transfer window, bringing in the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Gini Wijnaldum on free transfers, while Achraf Hakimi was snapped up in a deal worth €70million.
The report adds that only an unnamed English club have made an offer for Mbappe until now, but Madrid will soon make their move for the Frenchman. Speaking last week, Los Blancos' boss, Carlo Ancelotti, insisted he is satisfied with his current team and doesn't know if his side will land the 22-year-old.
“I don't know if he will arrive,” he said at a press conference when asked about his side’s interest in Mbappe. I don't care what will happen. I have a very good and very strong squad. They give me a lot of happiness. I am focused on that. Let's wait these 10 days and now I am focused on the team that I have.”
