In this weekend's Premier League action, two of the league's highest-scoring teams in Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur fight it out for bragging rights in the London Derby at the Stamford Bridge while a resurgent Manchester United travel to the St Mary's Stadium to take on fifth-placed Southampton.

Here is the rundown of all the action that awaits us in the Premier League Matchday 10 this weekend:

Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United

For the second week running, Newcastle United kick-off the proceedings in the Premier League, this time in an away game at Crystal Palace. 11th-placed Palace and 15th-placed Newcastle are separated by just two points in the table.

Last Result:

The Eagles suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Burnley in their previous outing which prevented them from moving into the upper half of the table last week.
The Magpies also failed to score in their 2-0 away defeat to Chelsea, in what was their second consecutive loss in the top-flight.

Head-to-Head:

The two sides have clashed 29 times across all competitions with their first meeting dating back to 1969. The visitors have the upper hand in the fixture and have won 15 times as opposed to Palace's 8 wins. Six meetings between these sides have ended in a stalemate.
Last season, both teams recorded 1-0 victories in their respective home fixtures.

What This Could Mean:

With only three points separating the sixth and 12th-placed team, a place in the top 10 is still up for grabs for the hosts.
Even if Newcastle record a win here, they will have to depend on other team slipping up for an improvement in their rankings by the end of the Matchweek.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Palace: Nathan Ferguson, Wayne Hennessey, Connor Wickham, Luka Milivojevic, James Tomkins
Newcastle: Jonjo Shelvey, , Dwight Gayle, Martin Dubravka, Ryan Fraser, Paul Dummett, Andy Carroll

Player to Watch:

Callum Wilson - The English striker is in line to mark his return from an injury spell this weekend. He has been the best player at St. James' Park this term and has scored six times and assisted a goal in his 8 appearances, which is 70% of all goals scored by Steve Bruce's team. His return would definitely be a boast for them and could prove to be the difference-maker in the match.

Prediction: 0-1

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Liverpool

After an impressive 3-0 home win over Leicester City, Liverpool travel to Brighton in their upcoming league fixture. Brighton & Hove Albion secured a rare win in their previous outing and stayed out of the relegation zone.

Last Result:

The Reds recorded a resounding 3-0 win over the Foxes at Anfield and extended their unbeaten run at home to a club record of 64 wins and with 20 points are on level with league leaders Tottenham.
The Seagulls secured the three points from their last game thanks to goals from Danny Welbeck and Solly March but lost Tariq Lamptey to a late red card.

Head-to-Head:

The two sides have crossed paths only 20 times in their history, with most of their meetings coming in the last century. Liverpool haven't lost to the hosts since the turn of the century and have a 100% record in their last nine games.
The current record stands 13-3 in favour of the Reds and the remaining four encounters have ended in a draw.

What This Could Mean:

Brighton stayed out of the relegation zone thanks to their second win of the season and will stay in the 16th position even if they suffer a loss here.
Liverpool could move to the top of the table if Tottenham drop points at Chelsea or else thanks to Spurs' superior goal difference Jurgen Klopp's men will remain at the second position.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Brighton: Florin Andone, Jose Izquierdo, Alexis Mac Allister, Christian Walton, Adam Lallana, Tariq Lamptey
Liverpool: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Virgil van Dijk, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Thiago Alcantara

Player to Watch:

Diogo Jota - The 23-year-old forward has scored 8 goals across all competitions for Liverpool and had stepped up in absence of Mo Salah to deliver a much-needed win against Leicester. He has fit really well in Klopp's system in a short time and can torment the hosts' defence on Saturday.

Prediction: 1-3

Manchester City vs Burnley

Manchester City host Burnley on Saturday night after a narrow yet convincing 1-0 win in their UEFA Champions League fixture over Olympiacos.

Last Result:

City lost 2-0 to a rampant Tottenham side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last time around while Burnley managed to eke out a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace thanks to an early Chris Wood goal.

Head-to-Head:

City have face The Clarets 36 times across all competitions and have registered a whopping 90 goals against them. The current record stands at 24-4 in favour of Pep Guardiola's men while the teams have shared the spoils on 8 occasions.
The hosts have not lost a game to Burnley since 2015.

What This Could Mean:

The Cityzens, currently 13th in the standings, still have shot at a top 10 slot but cannot afford to lose any more points as it will push them into the bottom quarter of the table.
The Clarets moved out of the relegation zone thanks to their first win of the term and need another win here to stay in the safe zone.

Injuries and Suspensions:

City: Nathan Ake
Burnley: Jack Cork, Dale Stephens, Robert Brady, Nick Pope

Player to Watch:

Sergio Aguero - The Argentine made an appearance from the bench in their win over Olympiacos and is in contention for a start here. The player has an impeccable scoring record in the league for City and could help lift the spirits in the dressing room.

Prediction: 2-0

Everton vs Leeds United

Everton welcome Leeds United to the Goodison Park on Saturday night, a week after they beat Fulham in a five-goal thriller. Leeds United continued to drop lower in the standings after they played out a goalless draw against Arsenal last time around.

Last Result:

Everton secured a memorable win against Fulham thanks to three first-half goals and a brace from in-form striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Leeds could only hold Arsenal to a 0-0 draw despite the fact that the visitors were reduced to 10 men after a straight red card to Nicolas Pepe.

Head-to-Head:

The Toffees have met The Peacocks 72 times across all competitions and surprisingly Leeds have the upper hand in the fixture. The current record stands at 15-35 in favour of the visitors, though, all but 10 encounters have come before the turn of the century.

What This Could Mean:

The hosts have stayed in the top half of the table with a win and will stay in contention for the European spot as long as they do not drop points here.
Leeds have dropped to 14th place in the standings with only one win in their last five outings. Even after a win here, the odds of a top 10 finish are small, but a loss can put them as low as 16th.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Everton: Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Seamus Coleman
Leeds: Diego Llorente, Adam Forshaw, Gaetano Berardi, Jamie Shackleton

Player to Watch:

Dominic Calvert-Lewin - The English striker became the top-scoring player in the Premier League after his brace last time around and was the first player to reach double digits with goals in the English top-flight. He is the man-in-form at the moment and can produce another scintillating performance in front of the goal.

Prediction: 2-0

West Bromwich Albion vs Sheffield United

Saturday's last game in the Premier League will see the league's bottom two sides going head-to-head at The Hawthorns in a battle to get out of the relegation zone.

Last Result:

West Brom and Sheffield both suffered 1-0 losses in their previous outing as they remained the only sides the competition without a win so far.

Head-to-Head:

This will be the first meeting between the two sides in the Premier League. All of their previous 23 meetings have come in the second-tier and the erstwhile First Division. The record is pretty even at this point, with 9 wins for Sheffield and 7 for West Brom. The remaining 7 games have ended in a draw.

What This Could Mean:

A win would do much good for the hosts who could move out of the relegation zone if they can grab the three points from the game.
Even after a win here, the visitors would still remain in the bottom three but it would go a long way in giving them a much need boost.

Injuries and Suspensions:

West Brom: Kieran Gibbs, Jake Livermore, Sam Field
Sheffield: Lys Mousset, Enda Stevens, Jack O'Connell

Player to Watch:

Matheus Pereira -The Brazilan winger has had a decent debut with The Baggies and has shown some spark in his 8 appearances so far. The Blades and West Brom have both struggled in the league this season and Pereira will be one of the few standout players on the pitch when these sides clash on Saturday.

Prediction: 1-0

Southampton vs Manchester United

The first game on Sunday will see Manchester United travel to St Mary's Stadium to square off against Southampton, who have had an impressive start to the campaign and are currently sit five places above the 13-time champions.

Last Result:

The Saints' three-game winning-streak was brought to an end in their last game when Wolves equalised through substitute Pedro Neto in the 75th minute to draw the game 1-1.
United saw West Brom off in their last league fixture thanks to another penalty goal from Bruno Fernandes and were victorious in their Champions League fixture against İstanbul Başakşehir.

Head-to-Head:

Sunday's game will be the 100th meeting between the two sides and in the 99 encounter so far United have the upper hand and currently lead the head-to-head record 55-17. 27 games have ended in a stalemate, including both of their meetings in the Premier League last season.

What This Could Mean:

Though it will not be possible for the visitors to go atop the league standings again, a win here would put them in a good position in the standing before two kinder fixtures against Brighton and Sheffield.
The Red Devils have a game in hand over most of the teams in the top 10. If they continue to win games a top-four spot could be up for grabs before the Manchester Derby next month.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Southampton: Danny Ings, Mohammed Salisu, William Smallbone, Nathan Redmond
United: Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Eric Bailly, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Paul Pogba

Player to Watch:

Bruno Fernandes - Is there any other player more influential at the Old Trafford than the Portuguese? Fernandes has scored nine goals and had picked up three assists in all competitions term. He was a key figure in their wins over West Brom and İstanbul Başakşehir and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be hoping for a similar performance from him this weekend.

Prediction: 1-1

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur

Chelsea vs Tottenham is hands down the best game this weekend, not only in the Premier League but across Europe's top five leagues. In this London derby at the Stamford Bridge, stakes will be higher as former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho takes on the club that he guided to their first Premier League triumph.

Last Result:

Chelsea emerged victorious in their previous fixture against Newcastle thanks to a Federico Fernández own-goal and Tammy Abraham's second-half strike.
Spurs continued their fine form in the league with a statement win over Manchester City, with Son Heung-min scoring within five minutes and Lo Celso doubling their lead in 65th minute with his first touch of the game.

Head-to-Head:

The Blues have locked horns with their London rivals on 117 occasions and as of now, the record stands 57-27 in favour of the hosts. 33 meetings between the two sides have ended in a draw.
Chelsea completed the league double over Spurs last season and Mourinho's men would be looking to return the favour this campaign.

What This Could Mean:

The top two teams in the league, Liverpool and Spurs are tied at 20 points, thus whoever slips up this weekend will have to concede the top spot to the other and Spurs would be in no mood to drop points here.
Chelsea is tied with Leicester at 18 points and a loss here could see them drop as low as sixth in the standings in the worst-case scenario.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Chelsea: Christian Pulisic
Spurs: Matt Doherty, Harry Winks, Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld

Player to Watch:

Son Heung-min - The Korean forward is one of the most in-form players in the league at the moment. He has scored more goals in the first quarter of the game than anyone else this season. He has formed a deadly partnership with Harry Kane for Mourinho's side and we expect the duo to produce moments of magic in the match to help extend Spurs' eight-game unbeaten streak.

Prediction: 1-2

Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

On Sunday's final game Arsenal host Wolves in a mid-table clash. The clubs have scored and conceded 9 and 10 goals each but Wolves' one extra draw means they have a one-point lead over The Gunners heading into the fixture.

Last Result:

Arsenal could not find a way past Leeds last time around, as they had to spent roughly the entire second half with 10-men.
Wolves played out a 1-1- draw at the Molineux Stadium in their previous outing and maintained their top 10 status.

Head-to-Head:

Arsenal have gone head-to-head with Wolves on 52 occasions, of which 29 times they emerged victorious while conceded defeat to their opponents 11 times. 12 meetings between the two sides have ended in a draw.

What This Could Mean:

The Gunners could move into the top 10 at Wolves' expense with a win, on the flipside, a win for Wolves could put them in contention of a European spot.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Arsenal: Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli, Calum Chambers, Mohamed Elneny, Reiss Nelson, Saed Kolasinac, Willian, Nicolas Pepe
Wolves: Jonny, Conor Coady, Romain Saiss

Player to Watch:

Pedro Neto - The 20-year-old star has basically filled in for the now Liverpool star Diogo Jota has impressed in his performances so far and has been involved in 4 goals in his 9 starts in the league so far. He did well to latch onto a rebound and equalise for his side against The Saints last time around.

Prediction: 1-1

Leicester City vs Fulham

Leicester City invite Fulham to the King Power Stadium on for a game scheduled to take on Monday night in which they'll be hoping to bounce back from their 3-0 loss to Liverpool at the Anfield.

Last Result:

The Foxes were humbled 3-0 by reigning champions Liverpool in their previous outing, in a game where Klopp fielded an unfamiliar squad on account of an ongoing injury crisis.
Fulham's struggles this season continued after they suffered their second consecutive defeat in the league after securing their first win of the campaign earlier this month.

Head-to-Head:

In the 23 meetings between these two sides Fulham lead the head-to-Head record 10-8, but their last win against the hosts came in 2004, before they became a force to be reckoned with in the top flight.

What This Could Mean:

The nest case scenario for Leicester is that they can go top of the standings if, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool all lose their fixtures, which is highly unlikely but a loss would definitely see them a move out of the top four.
The Lilywhites desperately need a win to move out of the relegation zone but even after that they would only rise as high as 16th in the standings at the expense of Burnley, who face a tough test at Manchester City.

Injuries and Suspensions:

Leicester: Caglar Soyuncu, Daniel Amartey, Ricardo Pereira, Timothy Castagne, Wilfred Ndidi
Fulham: Terence Kongolo, Joshua Onomah, Kenny Tete

Player to Watch:

Jamie Vardy - The prolific Leicester striker is the joint-thrid top scorer in the Premier League, with eight goals in seven appearances and would be looking to get on the scoresheet yet again. He misfired in the crucial tie against Liverpool thus would be looking to make amends by getting on the scoresheet in this home fixture, though most of his goal have come away from home this term.

Prediction: 2-0

West Ham United vs Aston Villa

The final game of the Matchday will see eighth-placed West Ham United host seventh-placed Aston Villa at the London Stadium on late Monday night.

Last Result:

The Hammers secured a much-needed 1-0 win against Sheffield United in their previous outings but Aston Villa suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton, which was their third loss in their last four league games.

Head-to-Head:

The two sides have squared off 77 times so far and things are pretty even between them with Villa leading West Ham 28-21 in the head-to-head record. The two teams have shared a point apiece on 28 occasions, including in their two draws last season.

What This Could Mean:

A top-four spot is out of reach for both the clubs, but a win is a necessity for both clubs if they are to maintain their top 10 status with just three points separating the sixth-placed and 12th-placed side.

Injuries and Suspensions:

West Ham: Andriy Yarmolenko, Mikhail Antonio
Villa: Wesley, Bjorn Engels, Kortney Hause, Frederic Guilbert, Ross Barkley, Thomas Heaton, Keinan Davis, Bertrand Traore

Player to Watch:

Sébastien Haller - The French-born Ivorian striker continued his fine form in front of the goal since the international break and was on target in their trip to Sheffield, showing that he can be counted upon to deliver results for his team when it needs him the most.
