Juventus vice-president, Pavel Nedved has opened up on the future of two of the club's biggest stars, revealing that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with the Bianconeri, while insisting that they have "plenty of time" to agree to a contract extension with Paulo Dybala.

Ronaldo's future at Turin has come under intense speculation following Juventus' poor performance in the 2020/21 season, with reports emerging that the management could look to sell the striker in order to save on paying his massive wages.

Nedved who is a legendary figure in footballing circles, reiterated that the Portugal icon will remain at Turin come next season, stating, "Ronaldo will return to training on Monday and he will stay with us."

Dybala's contract meanwhile expires on June 2022, with the Argentinian currently out of action after missing out on Juventus' 3-1 friendly win over Cesena due to a slight muscular problem. The 27-year-old too has been linked with a move away from Turin, though Nedved expects him to sign a new deal with them.

"(Director Federico) Cherubini has already been in contact with his agent, who will arrive in Turin next week. We are in good time to get the situation resolved, it’s not a problem," he added.

The Bianconeri will be looking to bounce back from a poor 2020/21 season, with the management bringing back Max Allegri as manager for the new season, with the Italian replacing Andrea Pirlo in the hot seat.
