Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain believe that they could still sign Lionel Messi from Barcelona in the summer with Le Parisien reporting that the club management have made contact with the Argentinian's representatives over a potential move.
The report goes on to state that the French club have outlined the signing of the Argentine star as a priority after crashing out of the Champions League semi-final, where they lost 4-1 in total aggregate to Manchester City.
Along with prioritising a move for Messi, the PSG hierarchy will also do everything in their power to hold on to star players, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe amid transfer links while also looking for reinforcements in midfield and defence come the summer.
The 33-year-old who for his part has remained mum on his future, has been usual brilliant self in front of goal this season - scoring 36 goals so far in all competitions and leading the Catalan giants to the Copa del Rey trophy.
It will be interesting to see what the man himself decides to do in the summer considering that interest from PSG could be a viable option in terms of winning the Champions League again and reuniting with former team-mate, Neymar in Paris.
