Real Madrid winger, Vinicius Jr has hailed fellow team-mate, Toni Kroos for his performance during the Los Blancos 3-1 win over Liverpool in the quarter-final first leg clash of the Champions League on Tuesday.
Kroos was immense on the night, with the German setting up the young Brazilian's opener with a high-arcing ball over the Reds defence - an assist that led him to claim "nobody can play like" the German conductor.
There were fears that Liverpool would overrun an old Madrid midfield consisting of Kroos and the 35-year-old, Luka Modric - but that was put to rest as they were a class above the Reds midfield players.
"Toni Kroos is incredible, he is a legend. Nobody can play like him. He has a lot of class. People from outside speak. I always keep working. I had never scored a double with this shirt, I think it's my best moment. I pointed to the crest because I work too much. I always dreamed of playing at Real Madrid," Vinicius said post the game.
"I always keep working. My team-mates encourage me to do so. They give me confidence."
Zinedine Zidane's men have positioned themselves as the favourites to progress to the semi-final stage and will go into the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona this weekend in high spirits.
