Not a single Manchester City player has been included in the fan's Team of the Season so far.

The team that has been selected on the basis of match ratings and Pep Guardiola's side, who are currently 10 points off Chelsea at the top of the Premier League, have no representation in the Team of the Season released by the BBC on Monday.

Fans are asked to rate players out of 10 after every league game this season, and every player must have featured at least nine times to qualify for the team.

City keeper Ederson has 11 clean sheets this term in the league but misses out to Arsenal shotstopper Aaron Ramsdale, who has been in fine form the last few gameweeks.

Brighton's Tariq Lamptey and Shane Duffy and Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson make the back four, while West Ham's Declan Rice and Chelsea's N'Golo Kante are joined in the midfield by Conor Gallagher, who has impressed on loan at Crystal Palace.

Mohamed Salah makes the cut following an impressive season that has seen him score 16 goals in 20 Premier League games for Liverpool until now. Hammers' frontman Michail Antonio and Kai Havertz make up the team.

There are no players from Manchester United or Tottenham, nor is there a place for standout City players like Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, and Bernardo Silva.
