Spanish giants FC Barcelona are reported to have joined arch-rivals Real Madrid in the race to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
Pogba has been linked with a move away from United for quite some time now and with his deal with the club expiring next summer, reports of a transfer are getting stronger by the day.
The Frenchman has also been reported to have ignited interest from Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Spanish outlet Fichajes now reports that Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola has already held 'talks' with Barcelona president Joan Laporta over a potential transfer next summer.
However, there is still no clarity on how the Blaugrana will manage his salary considering their dismal financial condition.
Pogba, meanwhile, has once again proved to be one of the pillars of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side at the beginning of the 2021-22 season and United are looking to ensure that he signs a new deal with the club.
In the five games United have played, Pogba has notched up seven assists already and looks in brilliant touch when he doesn't hold the ball too much and keep things moving in midfield at a quick pace.
