Bailly to seek clarification from Man Utd over his future at the club

ESPN report that Eric Bailly is concerned his first team opportunities will be limited after Man Utd announced they have reached an agreement in principle with Real Madrid over the transfer of Raphael Varane.

Varane is set to partner Harry Maguire at the heart of the Man Utd defence next season, and that could push Bailly further down the pecking order. ESPN write sources have told them that the defender, who is contracted to Man Utd until 2024 with the option of another year, will seek clarification from the Red Devils over his future at the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed a number of youngsters will be part of Manchester United's pre-season friendlies before some of them will be send on loan. "The young kids will definitely be part of the Derby game [Sunday 18 July] and then we’ve got another couple of games coming up and they can be part of it,” Solskjaer told

He added: "Gradually, more and more players from the Euros will join in.

"[The youngsters] will get a taste of some football. Then, roundabouts early August, some will go on loan. We’ve already lined up a few and some of them are still in discussions between us and the players about where is thethe best place to go."

Pogba open to PSG move

RMC claim Paul Pogba is open to a move to Paris Saint-Germain and that discussion are ongoing with the Frenchman's representative.

Pogba is contracted to Man Utd until 2022, but has been linked with a move away from the Premier League side.

PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sporting director Leonardo are in contact with Paul Pogba over potential transfer, according to Foot Mercato. The French outlet also claims the Ligue One side are willing to meet the demands of Pogba, who is contracted to Man Utd until the end of next season.

Spanish journalist Jorge Calabres told El Bunker podcast that Raphael Varane is closer to joining Man Utd this summer than he is extend his contract at Real Madrid. The French centre-back has strongly been linked with a move away from the La Liga side this summer, with Man Utd among the clubs said to be interested in him.

Sources have told 90min that Juventus are keen to re-sign Paul Pogba, whose current contract with Man Utd expires at the end of the 20201-22 season. Massimiliano Allegri, who has returned to the Juventus hotseat, is keen to work with the France international again.

David de Gea is determined to stay at Manchester United and fight for his place in the starting XI, according to The Times. The Spanish international had lost his place in the starting XI to teammate Dean Henderson towards the end of last season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have a decision to make ahead of the 2021/22 season with regards to who would be his first choice between the sticks, with both De Gea and Henderson highly-rated goalkeepers.

That approach has allowed us to have among the highest net transfer spend in world football over the last five years and have one of the highest wage bills.'

The club also revealed they are in talks with Mata, Grant and young goalkeeper Paul Woolston over a new deal.
