Manchester United are reportedly planning to offload seven players during the January transfer window as they look to raise funds for Declan Rice.

According to the Daily Mail, who quote the Sun, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly keen on trimming his squad, and Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly, Diogo Dalot, and Alex Telles could all find themselves on the chopping block during the January transfer window.

The report claims that the Old Trafford club are planning talks with the aforementioned players before the winter transfer window opens in the new year.

The report adds that Martial is contemplating his future following Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival and Lingard, who was assured by Solskjaer that he fit into United's plans this season, is keen on returning to West Ham United, where he spent last season on loan.

Solskjaer is also reportedly willing to sell back-up full-backs Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles. Rice has been a long-term target for a number of clubs, including United and Chelsea, and according to Manchester Evening News, the England international is the Red Devils' preferred target next summer.

Rice will go up against United on Sunday, when West Ham welcome the Red Devils to the London Stadium.
