Real Madrid defender and Manchester United target, Raphael Varane is reportedly attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain amid speculation that the Frenchman will decide to leave the Los Blancos in the summer.
Varane who is currently on international duty with France at the 2020 European Championship has just a year left on his current contract with Madrid, though he is yet to sign a new contract with them after turning down a two-year contract offered by the club management.
This has led to Marca to report that the Los Blancos are willing to sell the 28-year-old with PSG becoming the latest club to enquire about his services. Varane is currently valued at around €50million, but Mauricio Pochettino would like to bolster his defence despite possessing a centre-back partnership of Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe.
Varane's representatives are also expected to speak to United over a potential move in the summer, though the report goes on to state that despite the clubs interested in him - he prefer a move to England over a return to his homeland despite PSG's interest.
The 28-year-old is widely considered as one of best defenders in the world, having made more than 350 appearances for Madrid and playing a key role in helping them win three LaLiga titles and four Champions League honours.
He has also made 77 appearances for the national team and will be expected to play a big role when France take on Portugal in their final Group F game on Wednesday as their prospects of making it through to the last 16 hangs in the balance.
