Manchester United gear up to play their second Premier League game in quick succession as they face fellow top 4 challengers Leicester City on Tuesday at 22:20 hrs Indian Standard Time at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be forced to make a host of changes given that they faced Aston Villa just over 48 hours ago on Sunday.

Manchester United Team News:

The Red Devils look set to be without their captain Harry Maguire, who will miss his first ever Premier League game since he joined the Red Devils from Leicester City.

Since this is the second of United's three games in quick succession, Ole will not be risking the same lineup he put out against Villa on Sunday.

Solskjaer had warned last week that he would be willing to change his entire starting XI against Leicester with Thursday's clash against Liverpool on his mind.

United are without Martial and Jones while there is no clarity on what is going on with Daniel James' exclusion.

Ole has already informed that youngsters Amad Diallo, Shola Shoretire, Hannibal Mejbri and Anthony Elanga are among the U-23 players in contention to play against the Foxes.

“They [Amad and Shoretire] are in contention, yeah, definitely and they’re in the first-team squad,“ confirmed Ole before concluding, ”They’re training with us every day so I would think that some of the young boys will get an appearance definitely. If it’s coming on towards the end or starting, I don’t know because I don’t know how the players will be on Tuesday when we see them.”

Leicester City team news:

Leicester, meanwhile, will mostly be without Jonny Evans after the former United defender limped off from their warm-up ahead of the Foxes' 4-2 defeat to Newcastle.

The Foxes will also be going into this clash without Harvey Barnes and James Justin with both key players facing knee issues.

Probable XI

Manchester United:
Henderson, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Bailly, Telles, McTominay, Matic, Van de Beek, Mata, Greenwood, Cavani.

Leicester City:
Schmeichel, Amartey, Soyuncu, Fofana, Castagne, Pereira, Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison, Iheanacho, Vardy

United will probably be a much changed XI from the last game and Leicester might take advantage of that. However, the lineup Ole puts out will be eager to prove themselves against a fellow top four rival which could hand us an entertaining 1-1 draw.
