Manchester United Fans Claims Bruno Fernandes is "Better Than Prime Frank Lampard"
Manchester United fans have claimed that Bruno Fernandes is "better than a prime Frank Lampard" following his outstanding hat-trick against Leeds United.
United kicked off the 2021-22 season in style with an electric 5-1 win over Leeds United, with Fernandes scoring his first hat-trick of the season, as Paul Pogba provided four assists on the evening.
The Portuguese midfielder has been a star for the Red Devils since his £47million move from Sporting CP in 2020. Fernandes scored an impressive 28 times and registered 17 assists in 58 appearances across all competitions last season.
Following his performance against Leeds, United fans have taken to Twitter to boldly claim that he was better than Lampard during his prime Chelsea years. The former Blues boss is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League alongside Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard.

Speaking after the match, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "He [Fernandes] is a risk-taker, he's a Man United player. When you're a forward at United, you have to have confidence, a little bit of arrogance and take risks. When you have the quality he's got, players give him decent chances to be fair!"
