Manchester United are reportedly considering offering West Ham a swap deal which would see them sign Declan Rice as Jesse Lingard goes the other way.
United have been linked with a move for Rice for a while, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on adding the talented England international to his squad. Lingard, meanwhile, has revived his career since moving to the Hammers in January.
He has scored six goals and provided eight assists, and according to The Athletic, the Red Devils are keen to discuss a swap deal involving Lingard, in order to persuade the Hammers into selling their star man.
Despite there being no permanent option in Lingard's contract, Moyes is extremely keen on retaining him and United want to sell the forward, who has just one year left on his contract, having signed an extension in December 2020.
"We've not spoken about it," said Moyes in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's clash with Leicester before adding, "We're enjoying having him, he's enjoyed his time as well, but we've not considered anything more than that at this time."
Rice and Lingard are both set to feature when the Hammers take the field in a potential Premier league top four clash on Sunday against Leicester City.
