Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is the next favourite to leave his job after the club's season hit a new low on Saturday with a 3-1 loss against Leicester. The Reds fell to a third consecutive defeat in the Premier League, and have won just three games out of 12 across competitions.
Klopp’s side have picked up just nine points from their last 10 fixtures and sit 13 points off Premier League leaders Manchester City, who beat Tottenham 3-0 to extend their lead at the top of the table.
According to the Daily Mail, Klopp shot to the top of the "managerial sack race" list after admitting that his side's title defence was over. Squawka add that the German is now the 8/11 favourite to leave next.
The report also claims that Jose Mourinho and Roy Hodgson also make the list, having come under pressure at their respective clubs. Spurs have won just three of their last 12 Premier League fixtures, losing four of their last five. Palace, meanwhile, won just eight of their last 32 Premier League fixtures, losing 18.
A markedly subdued Klopp said after the Leicester game: "Yes, I’m conceding. I don’t think we can close the gap to City. At the moment it’s tough. But the only way out of the situation is to play good football, fight and work hard. That’s what we will do, we have to. We’ll get the results and see where we end up."
