Manchester United are reportedly ready to make an offer for Jules Kounde from Sevilla once they have wrapped up the Raphael Varane deal.
United have been heavily linked with a move for Varane throughout the summer and just as it looks like this move will turn into reality in the coming days, the Daily Mail have claimed that the Red Devils will move on to snap up Kounde soon after.
The young French defender is contracted with Sevilla until 2024 and the club will demand a huge fee for the highly sought after star.
The Red Devils have already added Jadon Sancho to their squad this summer. With regards to players moving out, PSG are looking strong favourites to sign Paul Pogba.
The French midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford for quite some time now.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are said to be ready to make a move for Pogba this summer.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was recently asked about the ongoing speculation related to Pogba's future following the Red Devils' recent friendly against QPR.
He said, "The talks are ongoing between Paul's representatives and our club representatives.
"There is always speculation about Paul and there are always clubs being interested because of course we have seen Paul at his best.
"I'm not in the detail of every single one of the discussions but Paul knows what we feel about it. I have enjoyed my time working with Paul and hopefully we can [continue] working together. All the dialogue I've had with Paul is he's looking forward to the new season."
Manchester United kicked off their transfer window by first snapping up Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
With Varane, they will have the centre-back partnership that could make them title challengers next season.
