Premier League side Manchester United will discover their UEFA Champions League group stage opponents for the 2021-22 season when the draw takes place on Thursday.

The Red Devils have been in the competition in the last couple of years but have not performed that well on the grandest European stage yet under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian manager has to set things right in order to at least ensure that the Red Devils get past the group stage in the 2021-22 season.

The pots for the Champions League draw are almost ready.

As of now:

Manchester United's best possible Champions League group stage draw: Sporting Lisbon, Dynamo Kyiv, Malmo.

Manchester United's worst possible Champions League group stage draw: Bayern Munich, AC Milan, FC Porto.

The Red Devils will be hoping for a decent draw this time out after a group of death involvement last season seeing them getting knocked out on the last matchday of the group stage with Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig being the other teams involved who qualified to the knockout round courtesy of the Red Devils' stunning collapse in Germany.

The Champions League draw is scheduled to be held on August 26, 18:00 CET which means it will be telecast in India at 21:30 hrs (9:30pm).
