England full-back Luke Shaw has insisted Harry Kane has their backing after the striker came under criticism after failing to impress in his side's first two games in Euro 2020.
Kane struggled in front of goal, and was substituted in the second half of both matches.
England have only managed to score a goal so far in the tournament, but Shaw insists Kane is crucial player for Three Lions, and claimed the Tottenham Hotspur star is the best striker in the world.
"There is no concern at all. For me, Harry is the best striker in the world. He is a very important part of this team. In fact, almost the most important part of the team. Whether he has not been at his best or not, he is a crucial player for us," Shaw told reporters [via Goal].
“If his performances aren't as people expected, this happens in tournament football and you can score a goal at any moment. He is such a crucial player on and off the pitch. He has all our backing and I'm not worried at all."
England sit second in Group D with four points from two games, and they face group leaders Czech Republic in their next match. They will be aiming for all three points against Czech and end the group stage on a winning note.
