Luka Jovic, who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan from Real Madrid, has said he will return to the La Liga outfit this summer.

Jovic joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, but the 23-year-old struggled to deliver the goods at the Spanish capital.

The Serbia international featured in 32 games for Los Blancos and could only manage to score two goals before he was sent on loan to his former side Eintracht in January 2021.

The loan deal with the Bundesliga side expires at the end of the season, and Jovic has said he will be back at Real Madrid in the summer.

"Everyone knows that I'm officially a Real Madrid player, I'll be back there at the end of the season," Jovic told Bild. "It's logical that I can't talk about my career for a few months."

The striker also revealed he had offers from clubs who were in a better position than Eintracht in January, but chose the German side because he felt they had what he needed. "Eintracht is a special club for me," he said. "At that time I had offers from clubs that were in a better position, glorious teams, but I thought Eintracht had what I needed."
