Atletico Madrid star Luis Suarez is pretty cautious when it comes to talking about their UEFA Champions League last-16 opponents Manchester United, and especially Cristiano Ronaldo.

Suarez leads the line for Atletico and will face the Red Devils since he pitted against them for Barcelona in the 2018/19 Champions League quarter-final.

Since then, a lot has changed including Suarez turning 35-years-old.

Speaking to Mundo Deportivo after the Champions League draw, Suarez revealed that Ronaldo is the player his team needs to focus on most in order to get something out of the clash.

Suarez said, "He (Ronaldo) continues to show what kind of player he is. At United he is a more than important piece and you always have to be careful with that kind of player.

"To win the ‘Champions’ you have to face the best and that is why United is there, for being one of the best in Europe. You have to beat everyone."

Apart from Cristiano Ronaldo, Suarez might be re-united with his Uruguay team mate Edinson Cavani if the latter is able to get back to full fitness before February 2022.

Despite this, there is no doubt the main focus of the tie between Atletico Madrid vs Manchester United will always be on Cristiano Ronaldo.
