Portuguese legend Luis Figo has named his choices of the best six footballers in the world at the moment.
While ranking his selections, the 2000 Ballon d'Or winner selected the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as his first two choices.
Figo also chose PSG stars Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah and Real Madrid midfield maestro Luka Modric, who broke Messi and Ronaldo's hold over the Ballon d'Or when he claimed the gong in 2018.
The average age of his picks are 30.5 years old.
Asked the burning question by Los Blancos Live, the Portuguese legend replied: "Cristiano, Messi, Modric, Salah, Mbappe and Neymar."
One can't complaint with Figo's selections despite him overlooking Premier League playmakers Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes, FIFA Men's Best Player award winner Robert Lewandowski and Borussia Dortmund hot-shot Erling Haaland.
The average age of these six superstars is 30.5 years old, with three players aged 33 and above and it is something that goes on to show the game is evolving with regards to the rise of young footballers across the globe.
Moreover, to think that for superstars like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, this is just the beginning, we might have yet another great duel to witness for years to come.
