Premier League giants, Liverpool are reportedly set to open contract extension talks with Alisson Becker and Fabinho, as they look to hold on to and retain their most important players as they look to build for the future.
Alisson and Fabinho have established themselves as key members of Jurgen Klopp's side, with the duo playing an important role in their Premier League and Champions League successes over the recent past.
As per the Dailymail, the Reds hierarchy will open negotiations with the pair when they return for pre-season at the start of July, though their immediate priority is to ensure that they finish in the top-four and qualify for the Champions League next season.
Alisson is widely considered as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, with the Brazilian winning the Premier League Golden Glove award in his debut season at Anfield while his fellow countryman, Fabinho has established himself as arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world after a slow start to his career with Liverpool.
The Reds have not had the best of times on the pitch this season, as they are currently placed fifth in the league table with 63 points from 36 games, three behind fourth placed, Leicester City who for their part have played one game more.
